Our ChurchLeadership

Our Church thrives because of the energy and style of the people who are a part of our leadership. Here are a few of the people that make our church community special:

Rev LynchIan Lynch - Pastor

Ian began his pastorate at Old South in August 2014. He moved here after thirty years in Massachusetts, where he most recently served First Congregational Church, UCC of Brimfield. He began his ministry serving homeless individuals at the Salem Mission in Salem, MA. He is committed to serving the wider church, having served on many denominational committees and briefly being employed by the Massachusetts Conference, UCC in the work of Mission Development and Social Responsibility. His commitment to community service was in evidence as a member of the Brimfield Conservation Commission and in his appointment to the position of Fire Chaplain for the Brimfield Fire Department. He lives in Mentor with his wife, Gina, his daughter, Angel, and his mother-in-law, Pat. He is an avid birdwatcher, so only mention birds if you are ready for a lengthy, impassioned conversation.
